Intentional Leadership
As healthcare continues to evolve at a rapid pace, early- and mid-career leaders are increasingly expected to step into complex roles that require more than technical expertise—they must lead with purpose, engage teams effectively and make decisions grounded in core values.
This session is designed to equip emerging healthcare leaders with the tools, insights and inspiration needed to thrive in today’s dynamic environment. Attendees will gain practical strategies and ethical frameworks to lead with purpose, foster engagement and drive meaningful change.
The interactive session, led by a panel of experienced healthcare executives, will examine the principles of values-driven leadership. It will highlight how aligning personal values with organizational values can enhance team performance, build trust and improve outcomes. Panelists will present real-world experiences and pragmatic strategies that have influenced their leadership development, including methods for fostering engaged and resilient workforces and managing change with integrity. Key topics include leading through uncertainty, building trust among multidisciplinary teams, addressing workforce burnout, and promoting a culture of accountability and empowerment.
The panelists will offer practical tools and examples from their own leadership journeys, illustrating how they developed leadership agility, progressed in their careers and supported the growth of others. Participants will gain exposure to proven tools for leadership development, such as building emotional intelligence, fostering inclusive cultures, leading through crises and managing with transparency. The session will also address the importance of ethical decision-making, humility and continuous learning in leadership practice. Special attention will be given to workforce engagement—a critical priority in the face of staffing shortages and burnout.
Leaders will learn how to cultivate environments where people feel seen, valued and empowered to contribute their best work. Through storytelling, practical frameworks and reflective discussion, attendees will walk away with a clear understanding of how to lead authentically, create positive organizational culture and develop the competencies necessary to grow into senior leadership roles.
