Sanjeev Sah serves as the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Technology Services at Novant Health, where he leads enterprise infrastructure, end-user services, data platforms, and cybersecurity. With over 25 years of experience as a healthcare technology executive, Sanjeev has a demonstrated record of driving innovation and transformation across complex health systems, serving in key roles such as Chief Information Officer (CIO), Chief Technology Officer (CTO), and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
Sanjeev’s leadership is grounded in advancing the Quadruple Aim—improving patient care quality, health outcomes, care team well-being, and the overall healthcare experience. He is deeply focused on leveraging technology to enable operational efficiency, elevate cyber resilience, and support the hospital of the future vision through responsible AI, modern platforms, and scalable services.
His passion lies in transforming capabilities through digital and cyber innovation to extend, elevate, and enhance whole-person care. Sanjeev prioritizes employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion, with a service-driven mindset that aligns technology strategy with organizational mission.
Prior to Novant Health, he served as System VP for IT Strategy & Cyber at CommonSpirit Health, and as CISO at the Medical University of South Carolina, Texas Children’s Hospital, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and Amedisys Home Health & Hospice. He also held technology executive roles at Unum Group and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana.
Sanjeev holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Security and a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) from the University of Phoenix. He completed CIO programs at Educause and Deloitte and actively contributes to national healthcare cybersecurity leadership. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Healthcare and Public Health Sector Coordinating Council (HSCC) Cybersecurity Working Group, the HIMSS Colorado Board of Directors, and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME).
