President & CEO
The Scottsdale Institute
Janet Guptill is President and CEO of the Scottsdale Institute, a unique, non-profit membership organization of the nation's leading-edge health systems, academic medical centers and community providers, advancing technology-enabled transformational change through education, collaboration and networking. Member health systems and their partners connect through intentionally small, authentic and informal executive peer group forums, to address both current challenges and longer term strategies of digitally-enabled care delivery. Janet has held several senior executive roles in leading health systems, including Ascension Health; with national executive search and interim management companies, including Witt Kieffer; with healthcare analytics software companies later acquired by Premier and IBM Watson Health; and as a healthcare strategy consultant with Ernst & Young and her own firm, Knowledge at Work. Janet holds a bachelor’s degree in health administration from the University of Arizona and a master’s degree in health systems management from Tulane University. She serves on planning committees and boards of a broad range of healthcare professional associations and healthcare related non-profits, and remains active in the local chapters of ACHE, HIMSS, and HFMA.
