Serves as the technician of Medical Consumable Site (MCS) consisting of 3 Non-Commission Officers (NCO). Provides management and oversight for operations at JBMDL, NJ in support of Innovative readiness Training (IRT) missions. Advises and assists leadership and Program Managers (PM) on the overall readiness posture of the medical (CL VIII) warehouse in areas of the requisition, receipt, storage, retrograde, and distribution of supplies and equipment at MCS in accordance with established policies and regulations. Provide technical guidance to supported trainings in order to assist, establish, and maintain adequate stockage levels for training accomplishment. Conduct periodic inventories of stockage supply items, initiates action for disposition of excesses, and make recommendations for changes to the authorized formulary. Develop standard operating procedures and performs administrative duties related to the MCS. Plans for CL VIII on-hand and service support for all medical training exercises, which includes the management of over $1.5 Million dollars of Class VIII annually; assists in mission planning for Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) approved and funded trainings and future operations. Ensure compliance through adapting Global Combat Support System-Army (GSS-Army) by conducting required training.
