Shruti’s healthcare career spans two decades in a wide array of health care settings from acute care hospitals to Contiuining Care Retriement Communities and hospice at premier institutions like Johns Hopkins medicine, Asbury Methodist Village, Iona Senior services, JSSA, Rowan and GW universities and the Delmarva Foundation QIO. She has a MHA from GW, is passionate about working with older persons and is a public speaker, trainer and support group facilitator for dementia programs.
Currently, she manages business operations at JSSA’s mental health services department in Maryland. She is cultivating a team rooted in mutual respect for many dimensions of diversity, honing leadership skills on the front lines and enhancing adaptability to change. Throughout her education, volunteer service and professional work she remained committed to a person centered approach to clients, patients and team members. She excels at deeply listening to people’s needs and designing innovative approaches to complex health care challenges like dementia care, health professional burnout and balancing demand/availability of mental health services.
