Dr. Kevin Goist is an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at the Ohio State University College of Medicine, where he serves as the Medical Director of the Virtual Care Center, the Clinical Lead for the eConsult Program, and as a Primary Care General Internist. Dr. Goist completed his medical degree at West Virginia University School of Medicine, Internal Medicine Residency and a year as Chief Resident at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Medical Center, and separated from the US Air Force with the rank of Major and a Commendation for Meritorious Service as an Air Force Physician in 2013. During his time at Ohio State, Dr. Goist has won several teaching awards from the College of Medicine and the Internal Medicine Residency Program, and has led the growth of the eConsult program to become one of the nation's largest and most respected programs. Outside of Ohio State, Dr. Goist has held several leadership positions in the Ohio Chapter of the American College of Physicians, and currently serves as the Chapter's Vice President.
