Jared joined Parkland Health & Hospital System in March 2019 and is the Vice President, Operational Transformation. Jared’s role is responsible for leading strategic efforts to identify cost-saving and additional revenue opportunities for Parkland. Jared was actively involved in Parkland’s fight against the Covid pandemic. Jared helped lead the activation of one of the first testing drive-thrus in the country in March of 2020, with the ability to test hundreds of people per day. Also, he managed two mega vaccine sites with the capacity to vaccinate thousands of people per day in early 2021.
Before joining Parkland, Jared served in various consulting and operations roles. He was a Sr. Operations Consultant for CallisonRTKL, where he helped define the future processes that would drive the conceptual design of a new facility. Also, Jared spent the first seven years of his career with Crothall Healthcare, working in various support service roles in hospitals across the country.
Jared obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Economics from Wabash College and earned his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. In addition, he obtained his Lean and Six Sigma Black Belt from IISE. He’s the Chair of the Membership and Networking Committee for the ACHE of North Texas Chapter. Also, he’s the President of Wabash College’s DFW Alumni Board of Governors.
