Intentional Leadership
Following the overwhelmingly positive response to our original session at the 2025 Congress on Healthcare Leadership, this expanded follow-up dives deeper into the personal work of overcoming imposter syndrome in healthcare leadership. Building on the foundational Bring Your Own Chair (BYOC) framework introduced last year, this session explores new applications, nuanced leadership insights and practical strategies that early- and mid-careerists can use to reframe imposter thoughts, build confidence and lead authentically in high-stakes, high-visibility environments.
Designed to stand alone or complement the original session, Part II guides attendees through real-world scenarios and guided reflections that address common challenges such as navigating non-inclusive environments, managing overcompensation and burnout, and knowing when to step away from misaligned roles. Participants will also gain tools for communicating professional needs, seeking mentorship and building resilience. The session will blend panelist storytelling, audience dialogue and interactive strategies to ensure you walk away with actionable insights, whether you're encountering imposter syndrome for the first time or continuing your personal growth journey.
