Career Insights & Advancement
Most healthcare leaders recognize the importance of aligning their organization’s work with its mission, vision and values. As is commonly done through strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) analyses, leaders also assess organizational strengths and explore how to leverage them to best position the organization for success. However, when it comes to reflecting on their individual purpose, aspirations, values and strengths, many leaders may struggle to clearly articulate their career strategy and how these personal declarations guide them on their professional and leadership journey.
In this session, you will begin developing—or reconnecting with—your statements of purpose, aspirations, values and strengths. You will also learn about Gallup's research on the CliftonStrengths assessment and how strengths-based leadership and professional development approaches can lead to greater success and fulfillment, both individually and for your teams. Finally, by leveraging Columbia University's coaching framework, you will explore powerful questions to help reveal your “why” and leverage your strengths for optimal performance.
