Camille Applin-Jones serves as Senior Vice President and Area Manager for Kaiser Foundation Hospitals
and Health Plan, overseeing the Panorama City Medical Center and Antelope Valley in Southern
California. With more than 25 years of experience in both care delivery and health plan administration,
she is a recognized leader in the field, named one of the Top 200 leaders in the Valley by the LA Business
Journal and honored as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
Currently, Camille leads service areas that provide ambulatory and hospital services for over 450,000
members in the Greater San Fernando Valley. Before this role, she excelled as Northwest Market Vice
President for Ambulatory Care and Clinical Services, where she directed health plan operations across
Oregon and Southwest Washington—serving 630,000 members.
Her career began as an inpatient nurse, shaped by rigorous training with the United States Army at the
Academy of Health Sciences in Fort Sam Houston, Texas, and Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Washington. Camille’s
academic accomplishments include a bachelor’s degree in nursing, a Bachelor of Business Management
from the University of Phoenix (1998), an MBA with a healthcare emphasis from Frederick Taylor
University (2009), and completion of the Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School
(2021).
An enthusiastic advocate for health equity and excellence in care delivery, Camille is dedicated to
improving the nation’s health systems. Beyond her professional commitments, she is actively involved in
volunteer organizations, enjoys quality time with her family, pursues her love of live music and sports (Go
Warriors!), and delights in outdoor walks with her shelter rescue pet, Elena.
Camille’s leadership is defined by her commitment to people and enhancing the well-being of every
individual under her care.
