Tim Johnsen, RN, BSN, MS, MBA, FACHE recently retired from Presbyterian Healthcare Services, the largest provider of healthcare services across the state of New Mexico where he served as Chief Operating Officer for the past six years. Upon retirement, he founded his own company, Keynote Enterprises and is speaking, writing, and consulting nationally. He began his career as an RN providing direct patient care in critical care, emergency departments, and as a flight nurse on an air ambulance program. He began his leadership journey as the Chief Flight Nurse/Program Director for that air ambulance program and then advanced his education to round out his business and leadership skills. Since that time, he has gained more than 25+ years in hospital, post-acute care, ambulatory practice and complex health system leadership positions. Tim and his wife Nancy, reside in Dallas, Texas and have two adult children, both who are working in health care.
