David Adams, MD earned his undergraduate and medical degrees at Michigan State University and completed core anesthesia residency and a fellowship in neuroanesthesia at Columbia University Medical Center in New York. He has served in clinical and administrative leadership positions in academic medical centers in New York, Vermont, and Indiana including Residency Program Director, Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education, Department Vice-Chair and Chair. Dr. Adams currently serves as a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists Committee on Economics and Committee on Academic Anesthesiology. He remains active as a clinical anesthesiologist who is currently appointed as the Robert K. Stoelting Professor and Chair in the Department of Anesthesia at the Indiana University School of Medicine.
